Chopin Potato Vodka is produced on a small, 17-acre estate in the pastoral Podlasie region of Poland. It is made only in the fall, in a brief window of time right after the late potatoes are harvested. Prized for their high starch content, the late-harvest potatoes are ideal for vodka production. The purified water used for Chopin is sourced exclusively from local artesian wells. Unlike some other vodka brands which purchase pre-distilled grain alcohol and then combine it with water before bottling it, Chopin's small, dedicated staff does does every step of the process themselves. Bottling -- which occurs only one town over from the distillery -- is overseen by master distiller and luxury vodka pioneer Waldemar Durakiewicz. The end result may just be the most distinctive, carefully crafted potato vodka available.
