Blue Ice is a hand-crafted American vodka made in Idaho from the finest local potatoes available. When founder 'Big Jim' Myerson decided that he would follow his dream of making high quality vodka from the best American ingredients he could get, the choice to produce his vodka in Idaho, from locally grown Russet Burbank potatoes, was almost too easy. The warm days and high altitudes combined with the slightly volcanic soil and cooler nights produce a quality potato unlike anywhere else. The potatoes aren't the only side of the story, though. Pristine water from the Teton Mountains filters down through natural aquifers that provide the only source of water for the production of Blue Ice Vodka. Blue Ice delivers an array of vodkas, from their staple Blue Ice Vodka that won the Gold Medal at the 2014 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, to several flavored options such as Sweet Peach and Island Coconut, as well as multigrain and organic versions of their flagship product.
