Karlsson's Gold is blended with seven different types of Virgin New Potato, all grown in Cape Bjare, Sweden. It is the only vodka in the world that is made from this varietal of potato. After fermentation, each of the seven potato mashes is individually distilled a single time, through a continuous, copper-lined column still. The resulting distillations are then blended using no charcoal filtration, in order to preserve the distinct taste and character of its costly main ingredient. The entire process is done by hand, ensuring a final product that is well-rounded and robust, with a uniquely noticeable difference in mouth-feel and viscosity that is not like other vodkas currently being sold today. Although this spirit is ideally enjoyed neat, over ice, or in a martini, it can also serve as a distinctive base for your preferred cocktail. Try it with a dash of freshly cracked, black pepper as well.
