Looking to set itself apart from the competition, Holland-based Vincent Van Gogh Classic Vodka accomplishes that task by combining cereal-based wheat, barley and maize. Joining them together not only in two distillation columns, but the standard copper pot as well, this vodka is then stored in glass for two months and then bottled. That exacting process over the past 15 years means that production comes in small batches. However, that only heightens the allure of this offering, since the first aroma offers a broad-based richness that's hard to match when it comes to any other vodka. Reaching the palate, the flavors then begin to balance out in soothing fashion. Finally, the long finish is one that's peppery in nature, yet the comfort level is one that blends seamlessly with what's already taken place with the palate. While other Van Goghs are flavored, the Classic itself is something to behold
