An award-wining Vodka created from a Central New York distillery in 2011, Adirondack Vodka has quickly become a popular choice for those who enjoy their Vodka as well as distributors across the United States. The makers of this craft product, which is only distilled in small batches, took great care during the production process by using locally grown products that are environmentally-friendly as well as gluten-free. Adirondack Vodka's base is 100 percent corn grain, which gives it a sweeter taste than the traditional Russian and French vodkas. In addition, that local approach is evident in the filtration process, which uses the so-called "Herkimer diamonds" method, instead of the usual charcoal filtration. The minty notes that are first discovered give way to a white rum flavor, but remain smooth from the time they first touch the palate until the glorious finish that will have those sampling it to ask for more.
