Frïs Vodka is a play on words, referring to its distillation process and also to the Danish words for frost and ice. Manufactured in Aalborg, Denmark, by Danish Distillers, the country’s oldest distillery, Frïs Vodka is part of the country’s cultural heritage. The idea behind Frïs is to capture a moment in time through its patented distillation process, which chills the vodka to 14 degrees Fahrenheit. The process of radically lowering temperature during distillation captures and freezes impurities, thereby ridding the product of unwanted fusel oils. Frïs distills all of its products six times to ensure superior quality. In addition to its traditional distillation, Frïs produes three flavors: grape, cherry and blueberry.
