The distilleries at Highland Park pride themselves on maintaining one of the most traditional processes of creating whiskey still alive today. Their 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whiskey contains all the unique characters of their products. The traditional malting floor in which they hand-turn their grain is one of the signature elements that brings a uniquely fresh quality to their brand. Aging their single malt blend for no less than 21 years in oak casks seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry heightens the spiced oaken flavor of the scotch produced. What could be an overpowering palate is balanced during their harmonization process in which each batch of whiskey is perfectly brought together in ways that bring just the right amounts of each element to the surface. While they focus on producing a high quality taste and finish in their whiskey, the nose of their 21 year old single malt does not go unattended. By cutting the whiskey with delicate, sweet, aromatic peat smoke created with complex flavors ranging from floral to nutty, the beverage is fully rounded out with all the distinguishing factors of Highland Park's brand.
