The Dalmore 28 is a special single malt scotch distilled as it should be: With malted barley and in pot stills located in the Scottish Highlands. The Dalmore 28 matures for more than a quarter century in oak casks that rest undisturbed for more than a quarter century. As such, the Dalmore 28 presents a very handsome appearance that is rich in copper tones. This rare whisky contains an adequate 43 percent alcohol volume. Its nose evokes a pleasant smoky aroma with hints of nutmeg and dried apricots. On the palate, the first impression is that of sweetness, similar to berries dipped in caramel and chocolate. This single malt leaves a robust taste with a long and smoky finish. This whisky is highly recommended for drinkers who can appreciate the slow and rich aging process.
