Marshal 12 Year Old Scotch Whiskey is a one-of-a-kind when it comes to Scotch. Made from a combination of malt and grain, Marshal is often recognized as one of Scotland’s finest blends. Marshal’s smooth taste is achieved by aging all of its malts for a minimum of 12 years. Some malts are aged even longer. Not only are all malts aged a minimum of 12 years, but so are the grain whiskey. Marshal is a blended Scotch as it is made using whiskies produced in different distilleries. In 2013, Wine Enthusiast suggested Marshal is best paired with game meat. Marshal is made by Ian Macleod Distillers, which has been in existence since 1933. It is one of the most respected and largest companies in the spirits industry. Leonard J. Russell founded the company, which has been owned by his family since its inception.
