Produced in the mountains of Guatemala, Botran Reserva Blanca rum is a relatively new addition to this genre of the Spirits industry. It has the versatility and balance to appeal to a wide variety of those who enjoy their rum. The white oak barrels from which this rum is distilled have a light toasting to them after previously being used to hold whiskey. Using the Solera process of aging, Reserva Blanca's color has been removed through charcoal filtration. The makers of this product believe that this fills an important niche when it comes to white rum. The balance is serene when it comes to the aroma, with a touch of wood and vanilla to intrigue the most discriminating of drinkers. Once this rum hits the palate, a complex cascade of explosive fruitiness emerges, which makes for exciting times and is something that will help put a smile on any face.
