Everything about the Vizcaya rum brand says luxury and tradition. Every bottle of rum is crafted with the same time-honored process, used by distillers in Cuba in the 1800s. The rums are made in the Dominican Republic with juices collected from sugar cane plants. The methode agricole distillation and aging process, which involves the use of bourbon barrels, produces the brand’s rich mahogany color, smooth texture and blend of sweet cinnamon, clove, ginger, vanilla and fruity flavors. The brand has won multiple awards for its rums, including the 2010 and 2011 Best in Show and Double Gold Medal awards at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
