Santa Teresa Selector Rum is made by German people in Venezuela. It is made using French and American oak barrels as well. Specifically, the rum is aged in French Limousin oak barrels and American white oak barrels for sometimes more than 25 years. They first bring sugar cane from their fields into their sugar processing plant, and then they process the sugar to create molasses, which is then used in rum. The sugar in the molasses is converted into alcohol through the fermentation process within the barrels. The product is then distilled and then aged for at least two years. The final result takes a long time to produce, but it is worth the wait, as the rum is enjoyed by many. It is sweet and delicious, and it has a powerful flavor as well. Santa Teresa Selector Rum tastes great on its own or as part of a cocktail.
