Hayman's handmade gin has been distilled since 1863 in the U.K. All of the styles of gin are made according to a specific gin recipe at Hayman's still, 40 miles east of London. The grain alcohol is put into copper pots. Botannicals are added according to the recipe. After heating, vapors rise up and change back into a liquid distiller. Botanicals are steeped for a specfic time for flavor and aroma. The middle or heart of the distillate is the final product. The ten botannicals that are added are: Juniper, Coriander, Lemon Peel, Orange Peel, Angelica Root, Cinnamon, Cassia Bark, Orris Root, Liqorice and Nutmeg. In addition to Old Tom's Gin, several other varities are made by Hayman's including London Dry Gin, 1850 Reserve Gin, Gin Liqueur, Sloe Gin and Royal Dock. Hayman's gin is exported to over 30 countries worldwide.
