Hendrick's Gin prides itself on being usual and unique in both flavor and the way the spirit is made. The distilling process is described as odd by the company. It uses two different stills that are decades old. Each of the stills creates a different type of spirit that are then combined together to create the gin. This blending allows for a very distinctive taste. Different botanicals are used in each still from elderflower and orange peel to orrisroot and chamomile among others. The master distiller maintains precise control over the quality of the gin by limiting each batch to 500 liters or less. This prevents differences in taste that could occur because of the volume of ingredients used. The final gin is infused with rose and cucumber to set this spirit apart from the competition even more. Hendrick's Gin has a robust taste filled with herbal and botanical notes that is not overwhelming.
