Even though juniper is the linchpin for any offering of gin, it's overall presence in No. 209 is somewhat muted to allow for the cascade of botanicals to bring forth a rich taste that would make any mixed drink or martini proud. Those botanicals are derived from all across the world, making this a drink that every adult of the world can find something they can enjoy about it. Angelica root, Bergamot orange peel, lemon peel and coriander meet the juniper, but it's the truly exotic arrivals of cardamom pods and cassia bark that set it apart. The aroma has a floral presence to it, with some spice and a strong citrus approach supplementing it. That citrus is powerful enough to remain along when it comes time for the palate to begin it's own involvement. Among those citrus delights is a dash of orange with a healthy supply of lemon.
