Coming from the oldest distillery in the Netherlands, the legacy of this gin is such that the current makers of it are the 10th generation. With that longstanding attention to maintaining the high standards established back in the 17th Century, the individual sampling the final product is the beneficiary. The taste is one that combines both floral and fruity notes that stay on the palate until the finish. During the course of this invigorating journey, a little pine can be detected with maybe some licorice to go along with it. Some of the more exotic additions like orris root are able to work with the ever-present juniper to make sure that the warm finish is a satisfying one. While there's no way to get a feel for all the botanicals that are used in it, given the company's proprietary combination, rest assured that the final product is worth the secrecy.
