Nolet's Silver Dry Gin is the long-running Dutch company's modern, almost experimental offering. It features a unique flavor profile with a strong focus on floral and fruit tastes. Juniper berries -- while still present -- are relatively subdued. As the spirit is directed at "a new generation of gin drinkers," this was probably a smart move. The distinctive, pine-tree-like flavor of juniper is a polarizing one among younger men and women. While many love it, it lacks the universal appeal of citrus and other fruity flavors, for instance. Nolet's Silver Dry Gin's one-of-a-kind lineup of botanicals is lead by peach, raspberry, and Turkish rose. Not exactly the sort of flavors one associates with gin but, again, this is a spirit for those who aren't afraid to try something new. The finished product is still clearly identifiable as gin but with a fresh, appealing character all its own.
