The Camus family has been producing the finest cognacs the world has ever known for hundreds of years. The Camus Ile de Re Fine Island cognac is a multiple award winning spirit. In 2012, Camus Ile de Re Fine Island cognac took home the Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, as well as the Silver Medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition. Camus Ile de Re Fine Island is produced using grapes that have a naturally higher iodine content than mainland grown grapes. The cognac is distilled on lees, which enhances the natural flavors of the spirit. A damp cellar and toasted oak barrels are used for aging this high quality cognac.
