Chateau de Cognac is a highly revered cognac house whose masterful skills in the blending of superlative spirits spans the course of two centuries. Its location in the Charente River region of France allows it to benefit from two cellar climates; a moist one that creates the cognac's floral, fruity aromas, and a dry one that develops its spicy, woody notes. The resulting combination of these two exquisite eaux-de-vie is the boldness and depth of character that is D'USSE VSOP. With a naturally aging cycle of four and a half years, VSOP shows itself to be a robust, and well-matured blend that excites the palate. Its bouquet is powerful on the nose, abundant in woody aromas and hinting of heady floral notes and cinnamon. Distinguished, yet surprisingly smooth, each sampling of it reveals yet another layer of aromatic spices, almond, and more cinnamon. Dried fruit and honey define the finish.
