The purpose of this cognac was to celebrate the new millenium with an unparalleled spirit. Although this cognac's age isn't disclosed, Camus Extra Elegance is believed to be aged nearly 50 years in the barrel. It's golden and full with a hint of hazelnut and a long aftertaste. As opposed to the the deeper tasting cognacs, Camus Extra Elegance is at the ultra-smooth end of the profile. This is an exceptional and voluptuous blend. The extra-fine purity of the cognac's glass and metal bottle is only surpassed by the finesse and subtle intensity of its contents. A double gold was awarded to this cognac at the 2012 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
