Camus is a family cognac brand that was founded in 1863. Currently in its fifth generation, the family blends eaux de vie primarily from from the Borderies growth area with some blends incorporating the tastes of other regions. The Camus Extra Elegance blend is a multi-region cognac blend selected from the crus of Borderies, Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. It is crafted for velvetiness in texture, strong flavor and intense finish. The cognac is aged in damp, cool cellars for an extended period of time to help bring out the product's full taste profile. Extra Elegance has won the San Francisco World Spirits Competition's 2012 Double Gold award as well as the World Spirits 2010 Spirit of the Year award. The Extra Elegance bottle, crafted by Cyril Camus, won a Pentaward for remarkable package design in 2007.
