Cognac Louis Royer was founded in 1853 by cellar master Louis Royer. He decided to use the image of a bee on the company logo as he was a bee enthusiast and he felt that bees symbolized diligence and efficiency. Cognac Louis Royer creates cognac, brandy, Pineau des Charentes and vodka to sell all over the planet. Based out of France, the company built a new bottling plant in 2003 which doubled their efficiency. The offices and cellars are still based in the town of Jarmac where the company began over a century ago. Louis Royer is still owned by the Royer family who continue to use traditional methods to craft their product. Their cognacs are 106 proof, which gives the drink some punch while remaining smooth and balanced. Louis Croyer is considered one of the top cognac brands in the world, often winning awards for their celebrated and refined creations.
